This is a great early agua colored bottle that is embossed \"DR. BLAKES AROMATIC BITTERS NEW YORK\" on the beveled and flat panels.
This bottle is in very nice condition with the very slightest interior soiling. There is no staining. This bottle has great whittle marks, nice bubbles and it is nicely colored.It has a nice collared lip, a nice pontil scar and a great sloping shoulders.There is a tiny POTSTONE in the neck (without spider) and there are a few light exterior scratches. This bottle will certainly clean with nothing more than a light interior wash.
This bottle measures approx. 7 1/8 inches tall and the lip which is prone to damage is undamaged.This is a very nice and clean vintage 1850\'s era bottle that is offered as found.ANY GLARE or LIGHT DISCOLORATION IS FROM THE CAMERAThis great bottle is offered for sale on the secondary market for the very first time.

This item is offered as found in the interior of an 1850\'s Appalachian home. It has been sitting in a local estate for over 150 years.
It was found with a number of other vintage kitchen and household supplies, open pontiled medicines and personal items dating from the Civil War period to about 1940. This item has not been washed, cleaned or altered in any way.(see pictures)
