Vintage Parker Vacumatic Major Azure Blue Pearl Fountain Pen Blue Diamond Flex N For Sale

Features the classicParker Blue Diamond arrow clip, decorative cap band, black cap jewel and Vacumatic filling system. Pen measures approximately5 inches capped.

The nib has beendip tested and writes well. It has a pleasantly springy/semi-flexible character and produces noticeable line variation with moderate writing pressure, as shown in the writing sample photographs.

TheVacumatic plunger operates and the pen appeared to draw ink during testing. The filling system has not been professionally restored or disassembled, so no guarantee is made regarding the age of the diaphragm or long-term filling performance.

The Parker nib has a gold appearance consistent with period Vacumatic nibs;no 14K hallmark is visible, so I am not representing the nib as hallmarked 14K.

The Azure Blue Pearl celluloid retains beautiful striped coloration and presents very nicely. There are light scratches, surface marks and normal age-related wear. Please examine the close-up photographs, which form an important part of the condition description.
