RARE SOUGHT-AFTER 1977 MARVEL KISS BLOOD COMIC BOOK W/CUSTOM INFO PLATE & FRAME: $200.00
If you're unfamiliar with its story, there was a comic book made in 1977 that was a collaboration between Marvel Comics and the popular rock band Kiss. As a marketing stunt, each member of the band volunteered and had a sample of their blood drawn which was then mixed with the ink these rare and sought-after comics were printed with. As a result, it sent the comic directly into the record books and created a "must have" piece for any memorabilia collector. After finally obtaining one a couple of years back, I had a custom plate made that gave all the important info (so I wouldn't have to repeat the story anytime someone asked 😆) and displayed both pieces in a custom frame. Currently, the backing piece is just raw cardboard, but I intended on covering it with red felt one day. However, I've decided to sell it as it currently is and the lucky new owner will receive the book itself, the clear plastic display sleeve its in, the custom info plate, and of course the frame itself. Very cool piece that's sure to be an ice-breaker for decades to come 😆.
