This vintage Navajo ring features a long ring face adorned with a center stone made from MOP, turquoise, and coral inlays with thin silver channels running between them. The inlays create what appears to be a red white and blue stone resting securely in a sawtooth bezel. A dark bed of oxidized silver follows below while a wide border surrounds the inlays in a shadowbox design. One side of the ring face has the year 1976 in raised overlay work while the opposite side has the year 1776 to commemorate 200 years of Independence. Deep petal-like stampings continue around the face finishing the design. The ring is solid and very well made. I’ve never seen a bicentennial design like this and think it’s pretty rare and definitely super cool! A collectors dream ring!
The ring face is supported by a sturdy split shank in perfect round shape. There is no signature or sterling mark which is more than common in vintage Navajo jewelry. The silver has been tested and we guarantee its purity of .925 sterling.
This statement piece will make a great addition to any vintage collection of Navajo jewelry. Add it to yours today and wear it with pride.
