Vintage Frances O’Connor real photo postcard / sideshow souvenir photograph.
Featured is Frances O’Connor, the well-known armless circus and sideshow performer who was known for performing everyday tasks with her feet and appeared in Tod Browning’s landmark 1932 film Freaks.
This particularly striking image shows O’Connor seated while holding a drinking glass with her foot.
The reverse bears the handwritten name “Frances O’Connor,” which appears to be a period signature. The handwriting has not been independently authenticated, so it is being represented as an apparent period signature rather than a certified autograph.
Approximately standard postcard size, about 3½ x 5½ inches.
Vintage condition with normal signs of age and handling. Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition.
A very desirable piece of original circus, sideshow, RPPC and Freaks memorabilia.
Sold exactly as photographed.
