This listing is for a lot of 2 Bibles that have been tied together with ribbon & lace with a floral accent for a Bible stack decor. One Beible is a 1982 Holy Bible, New King James Version, Red Letter Edition. The other Bible is a New American Standard Bible, Updated Edition, which I believe is from a 1992 printing. Both Bibles are in good condition with some wear on the covers and some discoloration of the pages due to age, but there are no pages missing, no water damage & no musty smell. I purchased these at my favorite church charity shop because I wanted to create a Bible stack, and they looked well together.
The Bibles have different covers and are slightly different sizes. The 1982 Holy Bible has a navy blue cover with silver lettering and a pretty silver border around the inside edges. It has a navy blue ribbon bookmark attached to the binding. It has a dedication page in the front which is filled in when it was gifted in 2017. The New American Standard Bible has a maroon cover with gold lettering. The outside page edges are gold gilded. It also has a dedication page in the front which is blank. Both Bibles have maps in the back--the Holy Bible has beautifully colorful maps & the New American Standard Bible has black & white maps. Both Bibles were printed in the USA.
I have stacked the Bibles with the slightly smaller one on the top and tied them together with a pretty cream color crochet lace ribbon & a silver satin ribbon with a metallic striped accent. Into the bow, I tucked a small cream color rose with a spring of white baby\'s breath. Nothing is glued together, nor glued to the Bibles. It can all be untied and taken apart if you wish.
Dimensions:Bible stack is approximately 5.5 inches long x 8.5 inches wide x 2.25 inches high & weighs 42 ounces (2 pounds, 10 ounces).
This is a nice Bible stack to display on your coffee table, hall or entry way table, bedside table, guest bedroom night stand or bookshelf. It has a nice traditional vibe and will fit in well with cottage core, granny core, shabby chic or even contemporary homes. It comes from a smoke-free environment. Thank you for looking!
