Someone painted this axe head but it looks like a long time ago. I can see no makers marks on it, but can’t be sure about that. It is in very nice shape with a straight sharp edge and a nice square butt. Eyes are in good shape, would make a great project or working axe. I’m sure it was probably a display piece, one of the reasons it’s in such good shape, was not used much. See pictures for better detail and description.
