The Mar Cantabrico was a Spanish motor ship notable for its role in transporting arms during the Spanish Civil War. Loaded with machine guns and ammunition, it was shelled and sunk by a rebel cruiser in the Bay of Biscay in March 1937. It was later raised, salvaged, and broken up in Antwerp.
