This is a very beautiful Fedoskino brooch with sterling silver backing and signed by the artist. If you are reading this then you are probably well aware that these are rare and a huge amount of work and artistry goes into making them. This one has a fantastic 3-D quality to it that my camera cannot fully capture, but it is beautiful to look at.

Signed in Cyrillic “Н. Таранова” (N. Taranova) and dating to the late Soviet / USSR period (circa 1960s–1980s). The lacquer miniature is mounted on a solid silver backing, a higher-quality construction associated with Fedoskino export jewelry.
