Vintage Art Deco Revival Flapper Mannequin Heads. Set of 4. Collectible set of four (4) mid-to-late 20th century mannequin display heads (marottes). 1920s flapper aesthetic, designed and hand-painted by an American studio artist. Head featuring the red dress is signed by the artist "AB" and numbered "6/250", confirming a limited production run. It is inscribed, in cursive script, with the series/model name "Marion". The other 3 heads are unsigned, but are identical in facial construction, pigment saturation and brushwork, and I believe, created by the same artist.Made of durable, injection-molded plastic, each head is 6.25" tall and features raised, factory inventory mold numbers on the base. Condition: Good vintage condition with vibrant, crisp hand-painted details. Some stray marks are present on the plastic surfaces consistent with age and handling. Signed mannequin head has cloth glued to base, and paint wear is present on the top of the head. No structural cracks, chips, or deep gouges. Please see photos.
