Up for sale is an exceptional hand-blown Iowa medicine/drugstore bottle dating to the 1890s. It's colorless, and generally oval in shape with one flat front panel,on which it is embossed with a pictorial eagle standing atop an apothecary's mortar and pestle, and below that it's vertically embossed "WILKINSON & CO. / DRUGGISTS / KEOKUK, IOWA.". The base is blank except for an apparent mold code "I". It's got a tooled flaring rounded cork top lip. It's 4 3/8" tall and about 1 7/8" x 1" wide/deep at the base.It's in perfect condition, never buried with no chips/cracks or damage of any kind, but it does have some old waxy contents stuck in and around the bottom, which could be dissolved or scraped out with some patience.
